These skin lesions have a rough bumpy surface and start off as unnoticeable and skin coloured and gradually become darker and more prominent.
The procedure is similar to the removal of a Seborrheic Keratosis. This is carried out under local anaesthetic and is removed by surgical excision with a scalpel.
